Graduate in English philology at the Lublin Catholic University, currently a lecturer in British and American literature at the Mysłowice branch of Ignatianum. Her research interests also focus on culture, spirituality, and modern literature of the indigenous people. She studies the customs and beliefs after the crash with Christianity in the convention of “post-trauma literature” of the Kuku-Yanji people. Since this year she is a full member of the tribe. Her totem is Kookaburra – a bird whose laughter, according to the aboriginal tradition, has healing properties.
