Journalism and Social Communication
Journalism at Ignatianum is directed at practical aspects of the profession, the emphasis being put on the development of professional journalist skills.
Students learn how to gather and verify information, edit material, use digital programmes, and audiovisual and computer equipment. Skills and knowledge acquired during the course of study are supplemented during class contact time with practitioners of the profession and during the blocks of extensive training. At the same time, students of this field are prepared to pursue the career of a press spokesman or a PR specialist.
