English Philology
English Philology is the subject of study that has occupied the leading place in the rankings of the courses most often chosen by high school graduates. The labour market is increasingly in need of people who speak English fluently. The influx of external capital and the development of foreign corporations in Poland enables philology graduates, especially in English, to find employment quickly. The knowledge of English has been one of the requirements of many employers for many years, but philological studies make it possible to use the so-called mature English.

Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow, through the diversity of specializations within this field, offers its students the opportunity to choose a career path related to a traditional understanding of this field, namely being teachers, or less traditional ones, directed towards work in a broadly understood world of business.

Management and new technologies in the public sphere: this field of study is intended for those who would like to work in public administration in the future. More emphasis is placed here on the use of modern IT tools (e.g. data carriers, communication systems) in offices and public institutions than in traditionally understood administration.

The study programme includes many subjects related to modern technologies, law, economics, and management, which gives the graduates a solid basis for taking a job in the economic or local self-government administration. The greatest advantage of this subject is an extensive block of practical classes – 375 hours during the first cycle studies.
